Home escape room generator

An escape room made of paper and envelopes.

No padlocks, no special props. Puzzles sit in sealed envelopes; each code opens the next one, until the final box. QuestCraft simulates a full play-through so you know the game can be finished.

FAQ

Escape room questions

Do I need padlocks or special equipment?

No. The “locks” are sealed envelopes with a label. Players tell the Game Master their code, and open the envelope only if it is right. You need paper, envelopes and a box.

How many players can take part?

From 2 players. With 5 or more, the game splits into two teams (Gold and Silver) with their own puzzles, and both final codes are needed to open the box.

What kinds of puzzles are inside?

Number puzzles such as object equations and number patterns, and word puzzles such as ciphers, anagrams and hidden words. The mix depends on age and difficulty.

How do you know the game can be finished?

QuestCraft simulates a full play-through before showing you the game: starting from the first envelope, every envelope must open and the final code must be reachable. Number puzzles are checked to have exactly one solution.

What age is it for?

From 7 years old to adults.
