FAQ

Treasure hunt questions

How many clues should a treasure hunt have?

It depends on age and time. As a rule of thumb, younger children solve a clue in about 3–4 minutes and older kids in 5–7 minutes. QuestCraft suggests the right number for the duration you choose, and you can change it.

Where should I hide the clues at home?

Choose places within easy reach of the youngest player and away from the stove, sockets, medicines and cleaning products. Each kit includes a hiding plan with a safe tip for every spot.

Can several teams play at once?

Yes, up to four teams. Each team gets its own colored cards and visits the same places in a different order, so teams do not simply follow each other. Everyone meets at the treasure.

What if the players get stuck?

The organizer guide includes a hint sheet with two progressive hints for every clue, plus a full answer key.

Can I use my own hiding places?

Yes. Add places such as “the blue armchair” with a one-word answer, and QuestCraft builds codes and puzzles for them.
